the green line traffic wasn't that bad... as I was walking into the Navy Yard Metro station they were announcing delays on the Green Line due to the woman getting hit by the train, but I didn't notice the delays at all.

It would depend whether it was the northeast or southwest side - they sent out an e-mail to the whole firm explainging "major delays"

after living in arlington, i can tell you the 4.5 miles it takes to get to K street can be traveled quicker by walking to your nearest metro station and taking a 10 min. trip than to sit in the car for a 25 min. trip.

virginia blue/yellow lines ftw! i never had to mess with green/red lines thank goodness.

you know if you go to the wmata website you can get delays directly from metro to your inbox about that...that's probably where your firm gets its info from too

very loud verbal fight on a packed train

lasted 4 fucking stops

apparently this woman was sleeping on a packed train - taking up 2 seats.

a dude told her to move, she said he was rude

all hell broke loose, people would get off to avoid the fight - but the trains were packed so more people would just come take their place

amazing - y'all should have heard some of the stuff that was said. 2 grown people cursing at eachother at the top of their lungs - i was laughing

Got on the green line today, going towards Greenbelt. It smelled like a damn butthole on that train. I can't wait until they replace all of them with newer cars

my fave are the trains that smell like dead fish. i'm thankful i sit in traffic on 50/NY Ave instead of rely on the red line these days
