reading anyone other than a friends blog is a waste of time imo.

but if you're into that shit then i don't see how reading someones blog makes you that persons constituent. i've read some conservative blogs before (red state or something along those lines) and kos and i find both of them to be loony, but reading them or quoting an article from them doesn't make me aligned with their political ideologies.

so if I was to come up to you and quote a rush blog about an important topic of discussion, and then use it as key evidence in my stance, don't you think that would make me look like a republican? Of course it does you fucking idiots

Yea, but if your only reason for posting in this section is to troll, it makes great material for your arsenal to annoy the other posters with!

^ If you prefaced your rush blog post with "consider the source" and "at least these bits of information culled from the blog have sources attached to them and they aren't just opinions" then no, I wouldn't think you a republican.

I already explained to TrollTwista 3 times how I landed on her blog. It was the first time, and so far the only time, I have ever been on her site.

how come when you're trolling me you always accuse me of watching "Bill O'Lolly" when I never watch that show? But I mention you reading Pelosi's blog...which you have before...and have quoted in a thread...I guess its another one of your double standards

i could care less about your disclaimers about "consider the source" when 95% of your sources are liberal newspapers or blogs...which is fine...except you're still attempting to come across as an independent when every person on here knows you're a Democrat/liberal since thats apparently where you get all your news

but just keep telling yourself that I'm the only troll and you're actally a legitimate poster to be taken seriously

so one democrat suggests this and you go apeshit about the democrats. this is a HUGE problem with almost everyone in our country when it comes to lumping together people into their little classes. not all republicans are hypocritical idiots. not all democrats are socialist conspiracy theorists.

they ARE, however, all human, and as such, all subject to the same problems we everday people have.

Well, you are the one hung up on telling me that I am a Democrat when I have stated numerous times I am fiscally conservative, socially independent to slightly left of center (within reason).

Now run along, and don't try to have the last word and shit up yet another thread without adding any content.

I don't get it, democrats would almost have the white house on lock down after the Iraq mess and various other George W screw ups yet the top candidates are Clinton's bitch, a black dude, and an ambulance chaser.

As long as Republicans choose a somewhat moderate candidate they could end up retaking the white house no matter what else Bush fucks up in the next year. hell i'd vote a moderate GOP over the three afore mentioned democrat top nominees

"Congressional Democrats still receive higher marks than their Republican counterparts for their performance, but independents give both parties equally negative reviews.

But when it comes to judging the president versus congressional Democrats on the issue of Iraq, the public stands with Congress. Fifty-five percent said they trust congressional Democrats on the war, compared with 32 percent who said they trust Bush. (Eleven percent of all respondents and 17 percent of independents said they trust "neither.") And by 2 to 1, Americans said Congress, rather than the president, should make the final decision about when to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq. Nearly three in 10 Republicans side with Congress over the president on this question.

^^ Wow, what a constructive use of the municipal governments' limited time, since cities don't bring impeachment charges against a president--and I'm sure that the cities in question are all Republican bastions. In addition, there has to be a constitutional basis of "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors" for the US House of Representatives to bring articles of impeachment, which still must be passed to impeach.

It is also one of the lowest confidence ratings for any institution tested over the last three decades [emphasis added]."

Reminder: Democrats control Congress--there's no getting around it, folks! Once you win, YOU are to blame if you don't get things done.

If things go well, the person or people in charge get the credit. If things go poorly, the person or people in charge get the blame--like Bush, right? That's the way it is--you can't have it both ways.

Without the 60 votes Congress doesn't control anything. W. can continue being an obstructionist whenever he doesn't get his way.

Democrats Win Control of Congress

Fine, they control Congress. You win at cut & paste. But they don't control the ability to pass legislation that W. doesn't like. So what do they really control? So when W. stands in the way of progress (as in Stem Cells and the War) it's his fault for not following the will of Congress and the People.

I guess you must resort to posting pictures of yourself when you are no longer capable of contributing to the discussion. gg.
