isnt is fucked up how if you have a bad heart/clogged arteries, the only way clear them (without surgery) is to be physically active. But by being physically active, you put more stress on your heart, increasing the risk of a heart attack.

Life can be a fucking bitch sometimes.

RIP Skip.

I just got word in Arizona that my dear friend Skip Prosser passed away. I wish all the best of luck to his family and friends in dealing with this difficult matter. Melanie sends her regards.

to keep their recruits i would think that would be a good route to go...

this is terrible news.

They had probably the top class for 08. If anyone in the acc, including us, gets any of those recruits it will be classless in my eye. I know unc was after two, but dont know if they will pursue.

Hopefully they stay to honor skip.

I understand where you're coming from on that, and I agree that if any of the schools (NCSU included) try to take advantage of this and go after the recruits then yes, it would be highly classless.

However, if Wake Forest releases the recruits from any commitment, and the recruits themselves contact other universities, then you can't really hold it against them for simply saying "yes, you can come here and play."

We'll see though, I doubt that the recruits will be wanting to jump ship quite yet, and if they don't then they're going to be very well loved on Wake Forest's campus.

The comments I saw from his commitments really made it seem like the guys were really sold on the school, academics, etc. If Wake keeps staff continuity it wouldn't surprise me if they hang onto them. Wellman will do a better job than Fowler managing the transition.

^^^^ He didn't have Tim Duncan. I've always liked prosser. He was one of the top 4 or 5 ACC coaches and was great for the revival of Wake Forests' program.
