Chelsea dominating...even tho the 1 nil score doesn't show it.

schalke shouldve had a goal earlier though. that was not offsides, it was close, and close is supposed to go the offense's way

Having played defense my entire soccer career...fuck "if its close it goes to the offense."

If your gonna score you damn well better be perfect D works too hard to get fucked on a bad call, tho it happens.

I never understood why you'd want to be a goalie...more power to ya. I like actually running around and stuff.

before high school i played as a goalie and a forward. since our team sucked, some games i would start as striker, score a goal, then be put in at goalie. i lost a lot of speed playing goalie, so i just stayed in that position in high school. plus i am crazy, and i love contact and physicality, so thats the perfect position for me. and i have good hands.

^yea im surprised you beat amac884 to announce milan's victory

Because it's win or they're out of CL... so I guess it's a good thing for non-Liverpool fans because when they lose today, it'll be the last time you have to watch them this season

I think Kaka is going to win it. Milan won the Champions League and Kaka was impressive when they routed United in the 2nd leg of the semifinal (not to mention during the rest of the tournament).

i like man utd's chances this year. they seem to be firing on all cylinders now, and i hope no serious injury problems arise, mainly to tevez and ronaldo. looks like the first knockout round will be a draw between schalke, olympiacos, celtic, lyon, and fenerbahce. im hopin they draw olympiacos.

That Lyon-Rangers game was a heartbreaker... the breakaway for Lyon is saved twice and goes straight back to the other end where a point blank, wide-open goal shot from the 6 is off the crossbar and out of bounds... what an exciting minute and I could care less about both teams

when does UEFA do the drawing for the next round? Also, to whichever group winner gets Arsenal, sucks for you.
