Yes. Almost every publicly traded food service company has published nutritional information. That's MILLIONS of restaurants (in number, not variety).

Also, most of the larger privately held chains do as well.

Your point it moot if you only want to impose it on larger entities, because it's already been done by market forces.

Privately held: Subway, Chick-fil-A
Publicly held: Mc Donald's, Burger King, etc.

i meant to say examples of each that aren't fast food. fast food has already been discussed in this thread. i'm talking about regular, sit down resturants.

Here's my two cents,

I wouldn't mind having the labels at fast food places, seeing that I'm a fatty trying to drop the weight. Even though, I have a busy lifestyle as a teacher that's no excuse for me to try and cook something healthy at home.

Yes, I have a George Foreman and yes I have healthy things in the fridge but it's those early habits that developed during my teen years that killed my health. Even as an adult, it's hard to fight the weight wars. If they add the labels then we should be made to pay for it, I've already paid my fair share to the medical system with a gall bladder surgery as a result of my early obesity. I'm paying medical expenses for bad knees, asthma, and borderline diabetes. So yes we should pay and pay dearly for our sins.

Public:
Chili's
(also available for all Brinker International restaurants - Macaroni Grill, On the Border, Maggiano's)

I can't think of a privately held sit-down chain off the top of my head, but i'm sure if i had some time to look, i'd find some. I i remember, I'll come back to it.

I think you missed a "not" in there.

And damn dude... being a teacher, you sure ain't a good role model, healthwise, are you? Unless of course you have changed your habits and trying to improve your health now through nutrition and exercise. In that case, good luck.

Yeah I am trying to change my habits, and it's hell.

I have only one person to blame for my condition and that's me. I ate and now I'm paying the consequences.
