USC is so far and ahead the best program in the country right now. Maybe not the best team this year (LSU) but the best program...

They schedule such great games. Knowing they get ND every year most teams (cough, cough... Michigan) schedule gimmes every other OOC game but USC goes on the road to places like VT (in D.C.), Arkansas, Nebraska, etc, etc...

wow, there was a play for the rulebook in the Auburn game.


Ok, QB throws that ball, D-lineman bats it back to the QB who catches it... he cant throw it again, he has to run the ball...

But in this case, the D-Lineman batted the ball back so far that the QB caught it behind the point where he had originally thrown the ball... so would that technically be a lateral/backwards pass to himself and he COULD throw it again?? Is it the trajectory/path of the ball or where the receiver eventually catches it that matters? (its the second one but this still seems odd, never seen this happen before)
