my "freebie" was when I tried to walk home from brentroad freshman year.. roommate picked me up right as I was about to Western.

I told him to leave a light on or I'd puke..he decided to be an ass and turn the light off..and I woke up with the spins/puking before I could make it to the bathroom. We moved out the next day so we just left it.

its usually caused by just drinking too fast/inexperience.. they're still at the "reasonable" drunk level but have a shit ton more alcohol in their stomach that hasn't absorbed..so even if they quit drinking when they realize they're getting too drunk, it's too late.

Everyone handles their passed out drunkness in different ways. I know someone who will wet themself when they are pretty bad off.

However, if it's your roommate and they are ruining your things or about to ruin your things, you need to do something about it. It doesn't matter if they were having a good time. There's nothing wrong with having a great time partying and getting carried away, but it shouldn't be at your roommate's expense.

I stand by my word, if it turns into too much of a problem talk to the RA about moving out, I wouldn't wanna stay in a room that and a permanant odor of piss.

I really feel that in order to actually understand the way a drunk person thinks, you need to experience it.
I always thought I knew what it was like until I actually got drunk for the first time, and it was different than what I thought it would be.
Same with many other things. It's very hard to be an expert on an activity that you have never participated in.


Also, please don't talk down on people for getting drunk, there is nothing wrong with people who get drunk. The only time it becomes a problem is when that person turns into an alcholic.
