And if you do, you shouldn't ask them out for a drink. Kind of goes against going to the gym.

As I type this, I can't help but remember the one chick I found at the gym doing clean and jerks, and snatches with awesome form. I had to talk to her, just to compliment that. There was some mutual flirting going on, but I didn't progress the conversation to asking her out--I've got a gf. However, this girl made me seriously reconsider.

how about just finding a way to talk to her first... then talk to her a few consecutive visits. then say something about meeting her in a more social setting so you can get to know her a little better.
