I'm sort of pulling an all-nighter. I've been staying up til about 3am and getting up to go to class or what have you about half the time for the past 2.5 weeks. Senior design project is pretty important to me...

I'm also really enjoying doing the work, honestly. I suppose that's a good sign for the future.

Structures Project, CE420. We're designing a parking deck, it's a joint senior design project this year so I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to coordinate all this crap.

I'm kind of the team manager, which is an unusual position for me. It's fun though, I'm managing my structures team, managing the team overall, and guiding us as we try to finish our project. It's seriously a pain in the ass getting this all done on time, and would've been a lot easier if we didn't have to resubmit our proposals. First run of the proposals was pretty crappy, and it's not like we have MORE time to finish the rest of the project, so we're doing the whole project + the revised proposal + all of our other class projects all at the same time.

I'm gonna be doing this up late shit all the rest of this week too.

There are three projects. One at the west lot by sullivan, one on north campus next to the new Math & Stats building, and one on the west side of North hall on Hillsborough st.

AFAIK we're not doing any research like that. We aren't quite the most on top of it group so far. I'm working hard to make sure we get everything done on time and with a nice polish.

There's ONE section I need to finish tomorrow, and one of my teammates is coming over to finish this one section. Then it's just final polish, spacing, aesthetics, grammar, spelling, print, and bind...

No, I'm seriously saying I'm sorry you guys aren't doing something you would actually enjoy doing for the rest of your life right now, as that's one of the unfortunate things that comes with work outside of your major. Some of you are dealing with this right now it looks like, and some of you are reading too much into what I'm saying at 3:30 in the morning on the internets! I was just curious if you were doing stuff that was directly related to your career post-grad or if it was something stupid like a research paper for one of your non-major classes.
