For school I use Java.

For work I use PHP.

For fun ("fun" (fun?)) I use Objective-C.

I'm thinking of getting back into XNA, which means C#.

Mainly PHP, but within the past 6 months I've done VB.NET, Powershell, Perl, Linux shell scripting, and uh... I'm sure I'm forgetting something else too.

At work, coldfusion ( ), ExtJS, jquery. On side project, PHP. On the back burner, Java on android.

I really would like to learn Ruby. And eventually some variant of Lisp. Anyone do game programming (and in what langauge)?

^^^^Yea I want to get back into XNA too.

Efforts to develop strong AI failed because Lisp was poorly named.

java/php/sql/jquery

While i've had the 400 lvl csc class where you program in 10 different languages (lisp, etc), i will not list them because i did not like any of them.

PHP and Javascript

other languages I use include HTML, CSS, and MySQL, but those are not programming languages (respectively a markup language, a style languge, and a query language)

SQL has functions, procedures, and conditional logic. What more do you need to consider it a programming language?

I'd feel more comfortable if it was represented by a mascot

^^I haven't looked into it that much, but there's rumors on the Internets that the SQL standard itself is not Turing-complete, and only some implementations (like PL/SQL, but not like MySQL) are, because of certain extensions to the standard

perl, and it's awesome.

I wonder if I taught any of your Fortraners your coding skillz? Any of you take the class between 2007-2010?

In my day job:
Java,
JavaScript (jQuery/Ext-JS),
Groovy,
Ruby (for acceptance tests),
Bash

Side projects (fun?) are jQuery and Grails (Groovy).

On a tangent, does anyone use git?
