See thats why its way funner to get drunk at a bar you can walk home from. When shit starts getting complicated you can just drink till you black out. Even blacked out you will probably be able to bum/find a ride since its so close and worst case you can walk the mile or two home and still wake up in your own bed.

Plus when you are shitfuckeddrunk no one will ask you for a ride anywhere.
