So that would be 110 points for a perfect round? Getting 49 on the music round isn't too far fetched, but I'm sure we didn't come anywhere near that in our guessing. Probably <20 pts.

You could totally come in for the last round and end up winning the entire thing if you are a music genius. Still sucks bawls they went from 5th to 1st.

hey nick, whats sketchy is they scored like 60 something points that music round, not 49, which i think you said. i was expecting us to lose by 10 or 15 pts...not by more than 40....weve never been beaten that badly.

and actually if they were in 5th, they prob scored more points than that. i was thinking 60 something points from around where we were going into that round

i agree it was easy guessing artists and song titles...but they wouldve needed a lot of years right too to get that many points. there is no way people know when chuck berry's single came out, jethro tull's aqualung, that cream song, the kinks....


we missed silverchair and modest mouse by a year on both but those were easily gettable. i dont even know who aesop rock is but apparently cody knew them. we didnt know the year. that sex pistols song, if you knew who it was you could prob guess anyone of 1977-1979 and get a chance at it. but i could hardly tell who that was with the clip we got.

its not like we sat there and protested on top of the tables. we had fun still and knew we werent going to win....it just seemed a little absurd to lose by that much

i'm usually pretty decent for the first two rounds. the alcohol starts to kick in around round three then i'm pretty much just laughing for the entire music round. and going "oooh!!! oooh!!!" when i think i know a song, even though i probably don't.
