In all honesty... if I see a guy and he's cute and i catch him checking me out, I just say "hey there" smile and walk on... if he likes me, he can pick up the convo, if he doesn't he can walk on. If he likes me and is chicken shit not to continue the convo, I wouldnt care to talk to him anyways cause I like that are outspoken and confident...

I like being verbal to people and I am not afraid of expressing my opinion good or bad.

Threads like these make me want to stop saying "Hey" to a lot of poeple that I walk by. If someone is looking at me or we are walking by one another, I always say "Hey" or something along those lines. It is completely non-interest based and nothing but being friendly.

Dude, we took a break during the afternoon Saturday while we were hunting and went into the nearby town to the Wal-Mart for a neck warmer (ate lunch while we were there) and I was, of course, in full camo. I know that women hunters are not all that common, but damn! People act like they have NEVER seen it! So, yes, I get more in full camo. But I was talking about like times when I go to the grocery store or gas station.

I mean... I am pretty sure it all has to do with a person's security. I think I am somewhat fairly secure with myself. If I say hey and they shoot me down, then you think i will say hey again? nope but i wont cry about it.

Once a person comes to grips that they aren't all that to everyone but are all that to some people, then making eye contact wont be an issue with people...

I think more confident people will make eye contact, Asshole self conceited and riteous people will ignore eye contact and those that aren't confident will look down...

I might get in trouble for saying this, but I've found the best way to talk to someone you just met, is to force yourself to not care about how the conversation goes. For whatever reason, it works. But I'm a natural introvert and it is work for me to talk to people I don't know, it doesn't come naturally.
