Seriously, though, that shit is fucked up. Not to turn this thread all racialist, but I've seen a recent influx of random attacks by black kids against whites. It'll be interesting if the government uses it's hate-crime laws against perpetrators like these guys.

3 girls who were hanging out with the guys that jumped me ran up to the black cop and told him that i called the guy a "nigger"

my roomate had to step in and tell them the actual story, but those girls telling that to a black cop definitely didnt help me. that word does not come out of my mouth, and it DEFINITELY wouldnt given that situation. it really bothers me that someone could witness a beating like that and make up something to clear their friends. i dont need to tell you guys things to prove im not racist, i know im not. that keeps eating away at me though

i saw someone i knew, so i ran across the street to talk to them. my friends and brother were on the other side of the street walking towards i heart ny pizza. i was crossing the street to meet back with them when this guy was yelling at me, he kept yelling shit over and over and i just laughed and let out an ahhhh fuck you. they guy talking shit was like OH HELLLLL NAW, i immediately ran away from the guys and my friends, separating everyone......me being in front, the 15 or so guys chasing me, and my friends were behind everyone trying to catch up, they had a good 15 or 20 seconds to beat me until my buddy came in and hit one of them, and thats when they all ran. my brother immediately tried to talk to me but i was unresponsive.

see i have no idea, i wasnt there, and the only witnesses were mainly worried about my well being, and trying to get to the hospital instead of dicking around with the cops for hours. i still have alot of unanswered questions though, and im thinking about doing something about it.


my buddy told me that the girls left as soon as he told the police the real story

the sad thing is...

there isn't really much that the police can or will do about it.

but I would advise you to ask the local merchants on franklin street if their surveillance cameras picked anything up. you might find a store that has cameras angled out of the window towards the street.
the sooner you do this, the better because the stores usually cycled their video tapes every few days and record over old stuff.

Eh, there's some strange precedent about "fighting-words." While none of them suggest absolving an attacker, sometimes it's enough to reduce the charge to something like mutual combat. Also, someone who yells the n word to a crowd of black people could feasibly be charged with a form of assault or breach of peace. Not that it matters though, it's not what he said.

fuck this shit... i'd start calling fucking lawyers and all the places on that street that might have cameras for court evidence.. seriously, this shit is ridciulous, do something whether the cops say you could or not. they probably halfway believed the "nigger' comment and weren't doing shit to help you. if this has happened to more than one person (and judging by this thread, it has) then multiple people who are not related filing charges will be stronger evidence that they are guilty than if just one person (you) filed them

so i just went to local businesses to see who had cameras and talked to the cops

first off though i found the exact spot on the sidewalk where it happened. didnt realize there was that much blood. there was alot on the shirt i was wearing but a TON more was on the ground. you could see where the paramedics sprayed it down.

secondly the police told me that they busted up a party behind franklin about 15 minutes prior to when i got jumped(if you know franklin you know its nothing like hillsborough behind , its all secondary housing). the party consisted of about 120 people, and the police said that the members of the party disbanded in groups of 15-20 after it was broken up. they said the kids were pissed about it getting busted, and that they all walked up to franklin just looking to stir shit up.

none of the businesses had cameras, and where i got beat down the only thing close was an abandoned gas station


it was a bad call to run away, but that was my first instinct so i dont regret it

File a complaint against the cops in civil court in Orange County for not questioning the girls at the scene of the crime - this was the only way you'd be able to find your attackers, the cops did not do their job (since the cops were obviously too slow to chase after them)

yeah today when i talked to them i caught too much of the "well nothing can be done" attitude. i didnt know what these guys had in their pockets, so to me, my life was in danger. i dont think enough is being done, i think theyre just going to play preventative on this one and try to keep it from happening again.

partially because i dont know how to go about it, and i also dont know the name of the officer involoved

on top of all that i was unconscious so i dont remember what happened after getting kicked in the face, and i can tell you right now i wouldnt be able to pick anybody out of a lineup
