I never saw a movie get 0% on Rotten Tomatoes but here's one:

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/one_missed_call/?page=2&critic=columns&name_order=asc

One reviewer wrote:

Call is the first major motion picture release of 2008, in charge of setting the tone for the lengthy year to come. My friends, the future does not look promising. In fact, it feels like a swift kick to the groin."

Some of you guys haven't seen many bad movies if you list stuff like Face/Off and Sniper. They're very far from good, but not the worst movie of all time.

No list like this is complete without a mention of Ishtar.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0093278/

Oh, and i saw that Cruel Intentions 2 was on last night. That's gotta be somewhere in the list, but not at the top.

Ishtar is not a great movie, but certainly not as bad as it is made out to be. It is one of those movies that is the victim of its own press. (such as waterworld) Neither of these is great, but they were roasted in the press because of how much they cost and it became a snowball effect of people piling on the criticism.

asking 'what did you expect' from a movie does NOT change the fact that it was bad or not. that excuse is used far too often lately.

sure that statement can be used when discussing expectations and disappointments etc. and someone EXPECTING a crappy movie to be awesome should have known what to expect.

but just because you expect a movie to be stupid, and ends up being stupid (and a terrible movie), does not change the fact that it is indeed a terrible movie.

^right, I agree that FGF is a TERRIBLE movie. But my point was directed at those who went to it and walked out. I mean, shouldn't you know something like that is going to be shitty?

Van Helsing had vampires flying around the top of the building, with the SUN glinting off the metal roof... but somehow they avoided it. Also, the completely illogical carriage chase thing, I cant even remember what it was but something about how there were actually two carriages, one right after the other, but the monsters didnt know that, but the first carriage fell down some ravine because the bridge was out but the second one somehow made it over, some shit like that... just a horrible horrible movie.

and the "if you know what to expect going into it you cant be critical blah blah blah" is garbage. A movie can be as weird or as out there as it wants to be, but it has to at least stick within its own rules. Transformers was just stupid as fuck. Why was there the random melted slide conveniently leading down to Megatron? why would a robot have to hit a button on their arm to look at a projected object? why would that be implanted in glasses? and so on and so on... they could have EASILY inserted these plot points without being fucking stupid (hey, melting ice caps expose a part of the robot so thats how they find it, so easy, so simple, logical etc. but nooooo) but they didnt so it is a shitty shitty movie

If they hadn't made a MST3K version of it I'd say:

"Space Mutiny"

Not only does it look like they are running around a warehouse instead of a spaceship, but they even stole the scenes showing spaceships flying around from the original Battlestar Galactica!!

I convinced a group of about 12 of my friends to watch this movie one night. After about an hour and a half into it they began getting up and going home one by one until it was just me and my ex-girlfriend left. Needless to say we had sex once the last person left, then she went to bed and i was left by myself to finish the movie

when was the last time you people saw Face/Off? That shit is unwatchable! I mean sure, you can find B movies that are far worse, but this movie had A list actors with a D movie plot. If Battlefield Earth can be on the list, then so can fucking Face/Off.

Oh, and Daredevil was fucking awful too.
Hollowman? anyone?

Batman and Robin

Batman and Robin was just awful. My family ordered it on pay-per-view back when I was 12 or 13, and I actually walked out of the living room and did something else because it was so bad. My parents watched it for some reason though, but they probably developed a tolerance for bad media because they raised two children.

The Star Wars Holiday Special

I love Star Wars, but I can't stand to watch this for more then 10 minutes. Wookies growl at each other for 10 minutes, with no subtitles. Bea Arther sings, and Grandpa Wookie looks at space porn.( ). The animated part was actually bearable though.

Both Fantastic Four Movies

As an Ultimate FF4 fan, these just piss me off. Sue Storm is supposed to look like the smartest women on earth ("I calculated the trajectory of the missile in 2 seconds"), not a sorostitute ("tee hee, I like science and stuff"). The Thing figures something out before Reed Richards! NO! REED RICHARDS IS THE SMARTEST MAN IN THE WORLD!

That's all I got for now.

"Basic" really pissed me off. I saw it for free in the theater, and felt like I should have gotten a refund. It was one of the most convoluted plots I've ever seen with an ending that had absolutely no payoff. They essentially revealed that the whole mystery was staged in the last 3 minutes of the movie. Actually, "The Usual Suspects" annoyed me for that same reason.

first off - "magnolia," "idiocracy" and "face/off" are all great.

secondly - have you people seen bad movies? From what i read you're all lucky.

By far, the worst IMO: "Radio"

I also thought the following were awful, and I HATED every one:

"North"

"Tomb Raider" (but not the sequel - go figure)

"Pearl Harbor"

"Armageddon"

"Jungle 2 Jungle," "joe Somebody," "For Richer or Poorer" - Tim Allen sucks

"Black Knight," "Big Momma's House," "What's the Worst that could Happen" - Martin Lawrence sucks

"Josie and the Pussycats"

"The Tailor of Panama"

"The History Boys"

"Antitrust" (fear the sesame seeds - priceless)

"Godzilla" (1998), "Independence Day" (I went there), "The Patriot" - Roland Emmerich is terrible

though he's not Paul W.S. Anderson bad: "Event Horizon," "Mortal Kombat," "Soldier"

"Street Fighter"

"Domestic Disturbance"

any "highlander" sequel

"The League of Extraordinary Gentleman"

"Blade: Trinity"

"X-men: The Last Stand"

"Cursed" w/ Christina Ricci

"Envy" w/ Jack Black and Ben Stiller (Black later apologized)

"Rollerball" (the remake, for which LL Cool J apologized)

"The Island of Dr. Moreau" and "Red Planet" - Val Kilmer should have apologized

"John Q" or "The Life of David Gale" (aka "I get it already!" movies that're just too damn preachy)

"Sphere"

"The Lost World: Jurassic Park"

"Thirteen Ghosts" (the remake - got my money back)

"Showgirls"

"Cool World"

"Starship Troopers"

"One Night at McCool's"

"The Road to Wellville"

"Bats"

"Reindeer Games"

"Chill Factor"

"Made in America"

"The Emperor's Club"

"Blues Brothers 2000"

"Gone Fishin'"

"The Village"

"Smokin' Aces"

"Superstar"

There are others, but I'm tired
