all the questions for Speaker's Questions are submitted beforehand and the Prime Minister goes in there with responses already written out. I do not see how it would be any different here than there.

The best part of PM's question time is the jeering and hooting from the member's of parliament. I'd love to hear the president get heckled.

Its asinine to expect a president, any president, to be up on every possible issue a congressman could randomly throw at him in an open free-for-all session.

What would be awesome is watching the president get booed (or cheered) for statements. I don't think that'd happen here though since the president is the head of the nation while, in England, the prime minister isn't soverign, just another politician.

How can you even compare the communist party of china with the democratic or republican party? Last I checked, the party chairman for either party wasn't automatically the head of state for the United States.

If that's the way the Dems wanna pick their nominee, then so be it. I find it rather amusing though, seeing these politicians grovel and pimp out for votes. Phone calls, luncheons, hilarious!

good point - that is an entirely Democratic behavior. Republicans would never stoop so low!

i was just wondering if you've ever provided anything of use to this board except for partisan hackery.

speaking of (partisan hackery and our silly primary system), I just talked to a friend in Alexandria, VA who is voting today in the Open Primary. He said he heard morning DJs this morning encouraging registered Republicans to vote for Hillary, trying to giving her the advantage because they view her as more beatable by McCain. Then while in line at the polls he heard two other people say they were doing just that.
