Both nice kids. I never really talked to Arwen, but I had a lot of music classes with Skip, and actually put together a lot of interesting stuff. I got an email from him not too long ago.

i threw a three day party my senior year.

had 1 or 2 of the teachers come by and drink and smoke with the students.

well, word got around and the whole administration was on my tail about who the teachers were and were the smoking and or drinking.

The lady in red was my first grade teacher and she got caught having an affair with the principal of my elementary school. Her first name was Twinkle, for serious, and she remained at the school but he went elsewhere. Never really knew what happened to him.

Honestly, just from being a teacher, I can see how some teachers would get caught up in the attention and slip into a relationship, physical or more, with a student. The males at my school are very verbal about who they like. I got a note on my desk stating that I was "fiiiiine" and I've had students say really inapproperiate things to me. They are not shy at all. Last week I went to the construction room to borrow a hammer and this guy made a heart shape with his hands and was showing it to me as I returned the hammer.

If a teacher were single and lonely and getting attention like that, it is not excusible but I can see it happening to someone.

DeMatha Catholic High School, Hyattsville, MD: woulda been scared if something happened there, all guys school

High Point High School, Calverton, MD: Only stabbings and shootings took place here, nothing exciting

Green Hope High School, Morrisville, NC: Still in its infancy, only rich kids not getting caught doing drugs here

Cary High School, Cary, NC: The band geeks and drama nerds had sex a lot and they shut down a bathroom because of it, but nothing newsworthy.

I went there 2 years, then went to my base school. Wish I'd stayed. I did it for a girl I broke up with by 2003. Was there 99-01.

Other shit:

- dude with a long greasy ponytail that would try to freestyle against Skip and also tried entertaining the school during the fire in 2001 when everyone had to go to the FB field by eventually shattering a couple hurdles. One of the gym teachers chased him down after this and probably wanted to kick his ass, but couldn't.

- this math teacher that would, i shit you not, eat 3 meals during lunch. Students would bring her off-campus food each lunch period from BK, McD's, Hardee's, etc. She taught most days seated behind the desk. It was Geometry or Trig I think? I hope she's ok now

- this hipster-y but super evangelical (a real Vintage 21 type) teacher who staged what he though was a hilarious talent show where he played Adam Sandler songs and had a pie fight that ruined the curtain. Watching our drama teacher bring him in and scream at him was great. He owed the school $3000 for that.

- the kid who jumped off the school attempting suicide..and lived. Anyone remember that? Did he turn out ok?

One of the Asian twins was up on the awning outside the cafeteria getting a hackey sack. The rent-a-cop and teacher saw him:

Someone had a picture of him dangling his feet over the edge of the awning with the teachers yelling at him, it was glorious.
