This really requires retaliation. Perhaps blowing up the old well or having a ton of people go by and drop some red paint on the top of it where it's blue. Seriously it could be all Jihad style. Get a couple of cars/trucks. Drive over there and be there around 4 am. Take a ladder or two. Pull them out and have someone ready to open a gallon of red paint. That person ascends the ladder and dumps the red paint all on the top of that thing and have someone handing him a second one to dump right after. All done in under 30 seconds. Seriously how cool would it be for this thing to appear in the N&O with a red top?



It's right beside Cameron Ave., which doesn't have enough traffic to really worry about someone coming by at that hour, as opposed to Franklin St.

Maybe it's because I'm older, but I'd much rather actually beat them consistently in ANY sport then worry about stupid stuff like this... it's a tunnel. In four years I don't think I ever once stopped to look at what was written in that tunnel. Hell, my last 2.5 years I don't even think I walked through it but once or twice a month...

and since putting paint on/around the well is an actual crime(vandalism), i doubt there will be pictures put up by the people who did it

a paintball gun is pretty serious, not only would you be hit with vandalism, you'd also probably be hit with carrying a 'weapon' on a 'gun-free' campus. (and yes they do consider a paintball gun a weapon)

i may be alone on this one, but the tunnel has always looked like crap to me, so adding puke blue ain't going to hurt the appearance a whole lot. i believe the tunnel gets painted blue every year, nothing new to see here.

what would be cool would be to sneak into kenan stadium before state/unc and orchestrate one side of the stadium hold up little pieces to the puzzle that says 'go state'. i think its been done before at other schools, but i think that would be neat.

^^What woulde be really awesome is to sneak into Kenan the night before the game and paint a giant block "S" over the "NC" on the fifty yard line, then spray round-up over the painted area, so even if the grounds crew has time to repaint, there will still be a big block "S" on the field.

That's what I figured, but about 10 years ago I saw on tv that the Michigan State fans stood around the Spartan statue to prevent the Michigan fans from painting it blue and yellow like they tried to do every year before the football game. The Michigan fans did a drive by shooting with a paint gun to paint the statue since they couldn't get to it. That's pretty creative.
