it's Catch-22...if you buy a motorcycle, you are grossly increasing your odds of dying young or otherwise suffering some crippling injury

if you just drive a car, you pay out the ass for gasoline

I'm not saying it's statistically significant, I was solely using it as a factor in preparing for the day when filling my tank will be a three-figure event.

Read that PDF I posted. You'll see why we're in even more deep shit if this were to happen.

I'll post the link again, for your convenience: http://www.mises.org/rothbard/rothmoney.pdf

My car uses premium and I'm averaging less than 20 mpg, fortunately I don't drive all that much so I'm only spending about $120/month on gas.

Damn how about that. I always tried to avoid that station, they were never cheap.

My fuel gauge is on empty and the light's on. I can't find premium around here for less than $4.05

My boss was bitching about how the cap on gas is $75 so he can't fill up his tank. That's what he gets for driving a huge truck when he doesn't need it.

They can whine, you cannot. Someone driving a small car is more justified in complaining about gas prices than someone driving a gas guzzler. The person with the gas guzzler always has the option of dumping the car for a cheaper one. The person with the cheaper car has no where to go.

So shut the fuck up.
