^^nobody is going to address that...i mean many people won't even acknowledge that Wright is a racist...I highly doubt anyone is going to say "wait a minute! Obama called for Imus' firing for his racist comments and said nobody who ever said racist comments would work for him...but Wright is still working for him...what gives?!"

He has distanced himself from the preacher, and condemns some things he has said. But again, considering the close relationship Obama has with him, its not surprising that he would defend him, rather than trying to live up to some general statement he made a year ago.

Actually, the fact that the media chose not to use the full context is what leaves it open to interpretation (actually, you can tell what Wright means if you don't look at the clips through the lens of prejudice).

And as GoldenViper noted, it's telling that you can't see that large aspects of this Wright thing is a smear campaign.

And besides, the differences between what Imus said and the things Wright said are far greater than the similarities. It's a dumb comparison.
