Try to pick the most unique sites...grand canyon, yosemite, arches historic sites etc ...
Youll get to see plenty of good views on your drive so stoping at every single national park is unneccesary.

glacier national park is by far one of the most awesome places ever

If you end up going out to California, try your best to drive up the coastal highway. I did that last August from LA to San Fran and it was possibly my favorite part of the trip. Some of the views are amazing. 4/9/2008 8:33:33 AM |

Just a few more days
We're gonna look into renting for the trip
Maybe a convertible, especially if we can expect to save $$$ on gas money that's comparable to what it costs to rent
