i think paulie deserves a bit of the Hurt treatment, as long as we are winning you let him play.
if his slump turns into a team slump, you have to at least bench him temporarily 7/25/2008 10:12:17 PM |

A 4 game sweep by the White Sox would severely cripple Minnesota and might end AL Central Competition. Twista, can you jinx them for us by posting in this thread? 7/28/2008 12:01:55 PM |

buerhle was the only one i was really confident in and once again we cant support him. (of course he got hit too, but that is yet another CUS)

They are going to play him in center????? WTF, that gimp will not last one week trying to run down plays in the gap. Still not that bad of a trade if he can somehow stay healthy, the Sox really didn't give up too much to get him. 7/31/2008 1:17:18 PM |

yeah, its kinda a push at this point, but I just think the star power and experience of the yankees will push them a little bit ahead of the chisox in the last part of the season
but, then again, the AL east is pretty competitive, so the yankees might wind up with a worse record 7/31/2008 8:57:19 PM |

Gardenhire threw his hat on the ground and (apparently as an extra) kicked it in protest. Showing their Twin Cities pride, Minnesota fans then responded to his ejection by throwing their hats and giveaway baseballs on the field at White Sox players (who were on the field since it was the bottom of the inning). Basically it was the type of crap you'd see at a Cubs game.
FWIW Chicago would probably destroy itself Batman Begins style if there was an all-Chicago World Series 8/3/2008 12:29:33 PM |

White Sox fans can freely speak on these types of things because they are so innocent.
Royals coach being beaten by Sox fans.
And lets not forget this:

Hey, we're all disgusted by Disco Demolition Night.
The stabbing in 2002 was actually committed by 2 Cubs fans (father and son, aw) at a Sox/KC game. It sounds ridiculous but it's true. 8/3/2008 3:02:18 PM |
