I was (still am?) a horse person. I'm an animal science alumni, but I don't own a horse any longer.

I realized very quickly that I had way too much common sense and not enough money to ever fit in with the "horse" crowd.

And I agree that horse people can be very difficult to deal with.

that pretty much sums me up. I've been fortunate enough to find some pretty good barns where I didn't have to deal with too much drama. At one, there were more guys than girls so the drama was at a minimum. At the other, I was just about the only guy there and most of the women were married, so I just kept out of their way.
