Diarrhea for 4 days? That's nothing. I haven't had a solid BM for almost a month. I've been eating fiber like no other, still doesn't work. I'm also haven't like 5-8 BMs a day

I'm pretty sure he's not gonna die from having diarrhea for a week. Plenty of people have had diarrhea for a week. Most cases resolve themselves within 2-9 days. You got it...diarrhea can last for 9 days...over a week. If he had went to the doctor after a week of diarrhea, the doctor wont freak out and say "OMG why didn't you come in sooner????" He's not gonna die for waiting 2 more days as long as he's getting fluids.

I've had diarrhea immodium couldn't stop before...it resolved itself without me going to the doctor. BRAT diet doesn't "fix" anything btw...it simply makes life easier on your intestines while they are getting better.

this doesn't really have to do 100% with this thread. but it is about feeling sick and it does have to do with my stomachish region so....help me i think i'm dying.

i have a really really really REALLY bad pain in the (MY left) upper left side of my abdomen. like where your diaphram is. like in the center spreading all the way over to the left side and up under my ribcage. and it hurts just sitting here it hurts to move and it hurts breathing in and out. and it is VERY point tender (tender to the touch, the whole area is).

i've gotten this periodically before---like it happens every couple of months. like a year ago i went to my doctor and she tested for ulcers and h. pylori. and i had an ultrasound which hurt like REALLY bad but they didn't find anything. at first she said it was heartburn? or from drinking too much coffee? well i tried a million heartburn meds and none worked. and then she said it must just be stress. well i'm not stressed right now. and i haven't had caffeine OR coffee in days so. i think either my pancreas or spleen hates me. i just don't know what it could be and obviously i can't do anything about it right now. i just really don't feel like going back to the doctor again this week for more mystery diagnosis---i don't have time. but i guess i'm going to have to. just wanted to see what tww said in the meantime.

except you have to have sex to get pregnant.

and if i was pregnant since this has happened for a period of months, i'd have at least 1 kid by now. and they PROBABLY would have found it on the ultrasound. i don't think you get pregnant under your ribcage either. but i don't know i did receive sex ed in public school.

did the doctor run any culture test/blood test? any coughing? might be an infection (bronchitis/hepatitis)

i mean when i saw the doctor before it before i had a CBC, test for h pylori and an ultrasound. but like...my CBC was weird i don't remember what was weird about it but i remember looking it up and being like ummm why isn't she more concerned. but that was like a year ago. and its come back off and on since then but she wanted me to see a gastroenterologist but i didn't really have time and i wasn't sure i needed a specialist after like 3 tests.

now i don't know what to do i'm in school again so i guess i'll start at square 1 with student health tomorrow
