"well without the plugs its easy to turn"

oh, well duh, that's normal.

i thought you were saying it was hard as hell to turn with no plugs in..which would be a problem, obviously

you should have closer to 100psi of compression though minimum. 70 is too low. just pull both plugs out, hold the throttle all the way open and crank on it.. i havent really read the thread so if thats what youve already done then ignore me

well yeah, i was reading on line that some people even had trouble turning these seadoos with the plugs out.

yeah, ill see if i can lube some parts up.

i used a battery charger wither lower amps to hook up to the jetski. it had plenty of juice. it would work and spin freely without the plugs. and with the plugs it was hard...

i was using the battery at first, and i just figured the battery was going dead because of the difficult time it had with the plugs in, sounded like a dead battery. but when it did the same with the charger, i kinda knew something wasnt right.

I'd honestly jump it off another battery.. my 4 wheeler used to do something similar even when I tried to jump it off a battery charger on the highest setting but it'd fire right up with a regular battery hooked to it..

I know it doesn't make much sense but that's my experience.

Now that I've fixed the decompression mechanism though it does fine without extra juice

yes you need sufficient power source or else the psi will be skewed! If your trying to test the compression with a semi dead battery. Then there, my friend, lies the fucking problem!

im jumping it from a battery charger plugged into the wall. with the actual batt. the gauge says 12V low.

with the batt. charger it doesnt.

there is plenty of juice i would imagine.

Duke,

We've had some work done at CS Performance at Lake Norman. We bought 2 standups from them prob 5 or 6 years ago. We've moved on to newer stuff since then, but they always worked with us. I definitely destroyed 2 engines messing around on the lake. The guys back in the shop race.
