friend lived here, and the apartment atrium/anteroom always smelled like a barn. another friend lived in another building and it was the same thing.

it's because the water heaters are under the stairs, and they are old and always leak. when they leak, THEY DO NOT DRY THE FLOOR AND IT MILDEWS OVER AND OVER.

it looks more professional than the word it represents, "moos"
