We leave 7/9 for chicago. Then to BFE, Iowa, with lunch in Cedar Rapids with my uncle. Then to Rushmore. Then to Grand Teton/YellowstoneThen to Glacier NP.Then we meander around the canadian border on the way to Wahkon, MN. And then we head home I've started doing research on darksky.org for where we should plan to stargaze; I've looked up the lunar cycle for this time; we're thinking about getting involved with http://www.raleighastro.org/ to learn about the night sky, in terms of constellations, and such - getting a basic familiarity. We'll camp much more than last year. This year, it'll be a different car, and I can't say yet whether it'll be better. It does have a sunroof, though!I have given up on seeing George Strait in Cheyenne on the 18th. Still gonna try and hit up at least one rodeo while we're out there. It's also serving as a bit of a research trip, a little bit. We want to move to wyoming or montana...somewhere out there.
