Any idea where they get the images from? They must be in a publically accessible database somewhere, more than likely on the net.

Would be great to have electronic access to this data fo' free, since its a matter of public record!

last i checked, the wake county jail mugshots werent available online, and you had to pay 1$ for b/w and $5 for color at the jail. the link listed above is for NC DOC, and they don't carry mugshots on anyone who isn't currently in prison. they also don't list any crimes that people weren't convicted of, or crimes that didn't lead to prison or probation.
