^ I said nothing about the reverse case
and nor do I fuck women, fyi (that seems to be a popular rumor around here)
most women want more equality, and ergo are "feminists," just not the way you're using the word
but the fact that men can hate women this much and still want to fuck them is sickening

It’s getting to the point where an office birthday cake can set the harpies off on a ten minute discourse on the best boyfriend they ever had — and still do have.
I have two words for that: ina-fucking-ppropriate.
That’s two words. I just mixed them together. " |

^^^ ugh. the author of the blog doesnt hate women. if he did, he wouldnt be funny. the site is a joke taking from every other misogynist joke/rumon/hatemongering out there. if you dont get that, i dont know what to tell you.
also, from what ive seen, some (not all, but a lot, especially the stereotypical dumb blonds, no not the hair color) women DONT want to be treated equal. they want to be treated better. they want equal pay, non-sexual treatment from everyone BUT those they actually want to bwn. which they expect everyone to instantly know and act on. oh, and even with equal pay, they still want you to pay for everything for the rest of your life.
im just glad i found a smart girl, and not one of those "feminists".

He's been on talk shows declaring this nonsense, too: I find it ridiculous, but why bother putting yourself out there as such a misogynist if it's just a joke? He's serious about it.
Quote : | "I consider myself a feminist and I am disgusted by women that expect men to pay for everything for them." |
Seriously. True feminism is nothing of that sort. I'd be offended if one of the women he described called themselves a feminist at all: most "stereotypical dumb blondes" wouldn't.

StillFuchsia All American 18941 Posts user info edit post |
^^I did. It's merely the belief that men and women should be treated with equal rights.
At its base level, there's absolutely no "women should be preferred" ideology.
I have no problem with women being included in the draft or men getting paternity leave: the more equal, the better. Obviously we live in a society where a lot of things are unequal between the two sexes.

it depends on the state. In most states, the guy will get the ring back regardless (it's viewed as a conditional gift)....
a few states use a fault based approach, and if the donor is the one to cancel the engagement, the donee can keep the ring.

i think the proper etiquette is that if the girl breaks off the engagement or does something in particular to cause the guy to break it off (like cheats, etc...) then shes supposed to give it back. but otherwise...
