We made a dart gun out of pvc pipe and a an old 100. Thing was a damn sniper rifle. Used to shoot foam darts and leave welts.

My uncle would soak us like crazy with a super soaker when I was a kid. Money was too tight for my mom to buy us one, plus my older brother would've tortured me to no end with that. We had to stick with $1 virtually worthless squirt guns you see at registers in the grocery store.
