He's making an oblique reference to the fact that morality is defined by the society in which you live, and that the longstanding goal of any society's perception of morality is 100% compliance.


That's not likely, and as a result, there is a logical fallacy in assuming that the existance of a state whereby immorality does not exist is even possible.

no, and that really doesnt address what i said
im saying that immorality has become commonplace and the only thing that combats it is appropriateness
which is seen at the workplace and etc
but at home where we are free immorality not only occurs but is expected

^^i dont think it has always been common place, theres many periods in history where high morals were valued and that was common place, theres always immorality but it was pushed into the underworld

lafta even considered the argument you're making for him. i believe the jest of this is the argument that individuals should make a stand against any form of immorality and we shoud live a morally correct god-fearing life.
