^I'm also left-handed, which is probably why I have always loved the uni-ball rollers. I tend to not like the needle tipped pens because I end up bending them slightly in some fashion, but they do write so smoothly.
^^Quagmire, the Pentel Store operated by a charity, carries the Original Quicker-Clicker. I've been using my first of the five I ordered when I started this thread. I gave one to Dad, and have three left at home in my pencil holder. It's been a very durable pencil, mainly carried in a pad-holder in my bookbag, but has survived treks while being jumbled in with the rest of the odd implements in my bag, such as a Swingline 747, Xbox 360 controller, calculators, etc.
It's interesting to see all the different styles of implements people like. There are many differing prominent features in these instruments, some have clear advantages in making writing easier such as side-click or shake lead advance. Other reasons, such as ink type and writing smoothness have been very important factors for most people in this thread. Price has been a defining factor for quite a few, requiring that an instrument be easily replaced if lost before its life has been met.
It just makes me sad when I pick up most any writing instrument and I still cannot draw lines or curves, every GC120 sketch was plastered with ROUGH. My lettering is a mess too.  3/16/2009 11:44:44 AM
