a higher percentage of blacks are in poverty but more whites are in poverty because we are the bigger population. If you are trying to say that blacks are being held down by some standard then you are dumb. They keep themselves like that by not educating themselves and always wanting stuff given to them.

I have no problems with any hard working, civil, productive black person living in our society. I am just tired of hearing all the excuses and always turning on the TV to see a mugshot of some thug who murdered/robbed/whatever someone around raleigh.

At the very least, you have to see that blacks as a group are poor because of "the man." You're plainly an idiot to deny this.


If you look at this graph, the black community's poverty rate is following a general trend, but why do you think it started so high to begin with? You can't say blacks are being lazy as a whole when they're steadily improving from a condition imposed on them by the [white] man. And Clinton's policies, for some reason, had a significant effect on reducing the poverty rate in the black community. The trend for whites isn't as drastic because they've had a good 200 years prior to build up wealth in their community. Blacks haven't had this capability for only the past 40 years or so, and even through that time, it hasn't mostly been fair.

I predict though that Obama being elected will have a very big psychological effect, on top of what his public running is likely already causing.

Look at crime rates in pretty much all major cities in the 90s. They go down, and there is no shortage of people willing to take credit for that

But then again economy and crime rate pretty follow the exactly inverse behavior so...

2nd- A guy arrested by the FBI on felony child porn charges
3rd- Man shot by police while trying to kill his ex g/f who filed charges against him

If you look at crimes committed mostly by poor people, you're going to find a population more representative of poor people.
