after being out of work on disability for a month, , paying some medical expenses, then being laid off, and then moving back to Raleigh while job hunting my bank account is HURTING. property taxes tend to be higher in TX bc there is no income taxi'm not sure exactly what i pay but it'll be less next year bc of the homestead exemption thingy but since i didnt own my home on jan 1, 2008 i can't apply for it until 2009 and its automatic after that. i think i remember it saving $2k a year or something like that
