I enjoy the touch, it lets me get internet while on the road/vacation which is always good to have and helps if you don't have a laptop or want to mess with that.

i really want to get something that i can pull up google maps with, i've done it a ton with people's iPhones and gotten us back on the right track on a drive or looked up directions to places, all that stuff. love that feature.

i might get something that has the google android software on it for the free 3rd party applications

I have an 8gb one and I love it, except I wish it had speakers and a camera.. but that is asking too much I guess. They just released the App store so you can get free games and play offline which makes it so much better, but I use it all the time around campus!! Get one!!

yes, but there are a lot of hot spots you'll find now days for free. I enjoy mine extremely well considering I won it through a contest. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it. I use it to check my email on the go, check some websites, play music when commuting and the occastional games. I only have podcast radio files on my ipod right now. DJ Tiesto live mix is a good show.
