Nice try at attempting to report the facts. The Big XII championship game was played exactly one week before the Heisman presentation, and a large portion of the votes are in at that point because some voters think it's unfair for some players to get an extra week to showcase their talent (LOL). At that point White had 40 TD's and 6 Ints (LOL), that's close to 7:1 by my math, and a number that had made headlines for many days after the regular season ended. Once again, a good deal of the votes were in at 6.66:1. After the Big XII championship game he had 40 TD's and 8 INT's, still 5:1, and then all the remaining votes would have been sent. The last two picks in the Sugar bowl against LSU were weeks after the Heisman began to collect dust on his mantle at 5:1 (LOL). Thanks for playing LOL!

and you have no idea what you are talking about, look at the numbers Oklahoma put up against shit teams, they beat A&M (who was horrible at the time) 77-0. Fulmer would NEVER score 77 points on a team that was being shut out. He would punt on first down before continuing to pile it on... throw White into the SEC in any offense other than MAYBE Spurrier's and he wouldnt have half the stats of Manning

I don't speak with every Heisman voter personally, but there are a large number of voters who vote prior to conference championship games, and at that point, White had 40 TD's and 6 INTs. It's actually nice to have someone here knowledgeable about other college teams. I love State but you can only talk about a 14-15 bball season and a 5-7 football squad for so long. I won't be jumping on the annual optimism bandwagon any time soon, so I don't even like to read about State's future. Shit can and will happen.
