I say go for it. If not it will be one of those things that you will always wonder if you passed on someone that might have been the one. How old are you? Does he look old? If it is 20 years...then maybe just have fun with the guy and live in the moment. I am sure he has some concerns if there is a big age difference but he must still like you enough to give it a try. I would at least see where it goes.

i'll be 30 in november...so it's like 7-8 years

he was ~12 years older than my friend at the time so i don't really think age is an issue to him...

actually the $$$ part was more in reference to the large amount of it he spent on my friend...
