When in doubt, pick an episode that heavily features Randy.

Not necessarily the best episode, but Chef-Aid was a classic. I think it sticks with me the most because someone bought me the soundtrack for my birthday way back when and I listened to it all the time.

My other favorites that I don't think have been mentioned yet:

Starvin' Marvin
Trapper Keeper
Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut
City on the Edge of Forever (now that's what I call a sticky situation)
Gnomes
Do the Handicapped Go to Hell? (and part 2: "Probably")

All great choices in this thread. For me, anything with Canadians is pure gold. Royal Pudding is probably my favorite of those, but there are so many good ones.

IMO, Butters-centered episodes are as good as Randy episodes.

RIP South Park. I quit watching this season because it wasn't funny. The 2016 season was awful too when they had every episode lead into the next one in the lead up to the 2016 election. Don't get me wrong, Trump is easy to make fun of, but they need to lay off the politics and get back to one off episodes making fun of random things like reality TV, Hooters, wrestling, Uber, etc. The episodes people are listing on this thread were hilarious.

^^I don't care if they make fun of the president, but the way they are doing it isn't funny. A lot of people are also saying they need to get back to the show revolving around the 4 boys.

Take season 14 for example. It started with Sexual Healing. It also featured Medicinal Fried Chicken, You Have 0 Friends, and ended with Creme Fraiche. Those episodes were all hilarious and not connected to each other as a part of an on going story. That's when South Park is funny.

^You have 0 friends was kinda lame imo. I tend to skip it. It does give Stans bday though(oct 19) so thats kinda cool

[Edited on October 25, 2025 at 10:40 AM. Reason : S14 Also has episodes 200 and 201...those are connected. Just saying]

^Yeah I know they've done some 2 part episodes and trilogies. Those turned out fine. The 2016 season leading up to the election wasn’t funny either because of the format. They did mention Bill Cosby and Jared from Subway, but it was passively. Randy dressed as Lorde the entire season wasn't funny either. There were a few times they weren't able to touch on some things because of the format. The old format where they focus on some random topic in a one off episode is so much funnier.

Another favorite of mine is Asspen. Has a montage, a healthy amount of Butters(he busts a move on the dance floor!), Stan DARSH, etc

^I enjoyed "I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining." The live action part was cool. I used to watch "I Shouldn't Be Alive" on National Geographic Network. The South Park episode was a pretty good parody.

I should have never gone ziplining is one i didn't appreciate until the past 6 months. Now I watch it like every 3 weeks

[Edited on October 25, 2025 at 2:23 PM. Reason : Grounded vindaloop is similar in the live action regard. I like that one too]
