The reason you don't automatically get a ticket is because a lot of people pay a lot more than you to get tickets instead. As long as they are willing to pay that, the student seating is goignt o be limited.

remember, universities are businesses.

I was lucky in that I have had season tickets for 16 years and have therefore never had to miss a game due to not getting tickets.
