Not quite. We'd been watching TV all evening, and I was feeling cuddly, still. We watched the last of the shows we wanted to watch, and I didn't want to stop cuddling, but we each had to use the bathroom, so when he used the master bathroom, he got the ring from the bedroom. Said it'd been burning a hole in his pocket

Also, QTPie did an excellent job. Seriously. I had no knowledge about diamonds, so I went in once upon a time, and looked at diamonds. I figure that if an H doesn't look yellow to me, there's no reason for him to pay for, say, F, so basically, I was setting minimum thresholds, and letting her know these sorts of things so that when he came in, she could help as much as possible. I showed her pictures of the original ring, and noted things on rings in the store that I liked, and told her "I trust you completely; I'll let him know to come see you".
