I think they're doing that sale again this friday and saturday... so g7 or mx revolution at the bookstore would be a good option. Otherwise, same mice but from newegg would be good.9/22/2008 5:43:04 PM |

Just my two cents
Quote : | "Then, when they go bad after a year or so, I can just buy some more at an inexpensive price. The ones that have "special rechargeable batteries" or "model specific" so they can be recharged on a stand suck. Been there. After about a year and a half to 2 years, they probably won't hold a charge longer than 15 minutes. Then it's either get a new mouse or spend an unreasonable amount on a new set of batteries. (now that was with the old NiMH and NiCad batteries though, so I know that Lith. Ion batteries are much better...) " |
Had my MX 1000 mouse for going on 3? Years now. It takes a good 4-8 hours to fully charge, but it still lasts me several WEEKS on a single charge. Couldn't be more happy.9/22/2008 5:55:00 PM |

same here - i use a MX1000 at home, since 2004 - and it still holds a charge for several weeks. The keyboard in the combo needs batteries replaced approx once every 1.5 years.
i use an MX Revolution at work which I love9/22/2008 10:17:32 PM |

I think I found a winner. Logitech MX1100 cordless laser, 1600 dpi.
Seems to meet all of the criteria I listed. Gonna go find one in a store to see if I like the fit.
