one of my best friends in high school's mom was an abstract artist

and let me tell you their house was (one of) her canvas(es)

it did not affect the resale value, in fact I believe some old hippies who recognized her work paid a healthy bit more for it

true, but it definitely limits the potential buyers. artsy types will love it. normal people (hi, i'm donny) will say "hmm...interesting..."



oh, and if there's any direct sunlight on those walls, those colors will begin to fade over time. That may be 20 years, but it will happen, and when it does, trying to cover up those colors is going to be a bitch.

it might not be reactive in the visible spectrum, but the right resin will soak the UV right out of it and give that an immortal lifespan indoors

Agreed. That's why my apt walls are a green color and my kitchen is another. Also, in my bedroom I have an accent wall with all kinds of art up all around my house, with the remaining walls (in the apt) the "sand" color.
