I am not from the south. I personally don't get the watermelon or chicken thing myself because I was not raised with hate in my heart for black folks but did know it could be a racial slur. The "don't drink the kool-aid" is associated with Obama and it is not a racial slur. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/21/rendell-says-college-kids_n_97854.htmlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zf3Gh8dVoBohttp://blogs.suntimes.com/conventions/2008/09/dont_drink_the_koolaid_barack.html

I seriously doubt that whoever made the jpg was thinking of Jonestown. I would be willing to bet money if you asked, "Why is there Kool-aid on your image good sir?" that would not be the answer they came up with.

I am not so sure, but only the person who made it can answer that.

Let's think about this using occam's razor. You have an image with watermelon, fried chicken, ribs, kool-aid.Watermelon - stereotype of black peoplefried chicken - stereotype of black peopleribs - stereotype of black peoplekool aid - a commentary on Obama's fandom and reference to a cult situation in the 1970s.I'll go with these as the more logical choice:http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=kool-aidhttp://dallaspenn.com/weblog/?p=2351http://maochan.wordpress.com/2007/07/18/ytmnd-black-people-love-kool-aid/http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080903165226AAPJd5U
