I never wore them with jeans, but I can't even believe that I used to wear rainbows with such frequency. All day 'er day, for years.

I probably haven't worn flip flops at all since 2008. These are certainly better days.

I am guilty of this I just walked to the store in jeans an a nice pair of oluki ohanas. I had no clue that people were against this. Thanks for pointing out that people not only notice this but find it out of favor. I will likely still do it but will feel self conscious.

I don’t wear cargo shorts anymore but I’m not ready to lose the convenience of flip flops.

This is true my neighbor wears cargos with boots and socks daily but I never gave it a second thought. Thought it was weird but he was good with it so I never game him shit.

No shits given. And he indeed gives not one. He doesn’t judge me for bare feet or flip flops and if his feet are happy in the boots I don’t judge him either. I’m happy he is satisfied and I could give a flying fuck about his shoe choice. May not be what I like but homey is 50+ years old and it works for him. Who am I to say he’s wrong and I’m not.
