I'll give you the abridged version

So my dad, brothers and I are Vegas last summer for a little family bonding

We're sitting in the rooms drinking for a while until we decide to go down and hit the tables

My brothers and I go; my dad says he'll be down in a minute, he's gotta shit

When I get downstairs I realize I forgot my wallet so I go back up to the room

I look all thru the room me and one of my brothers share but I can't find it

So I open to inner connecting door between our two rooms to see if its in the other room when what do I see but Pops in mid stroke JO to PPV smut

I try to back out silently but the door creeks and dad turns and our eyes meet

It felt like 5 minues but was probably like 5 seconds until I stammer out "Jesus Christ" and run the fuck out of there...if it was anyone but my dad I would've have LOL'd and made fun of them, but seeing your dad beat is just weird, knowing you once made that same journey thru his loins

I walk from the Bellagio all the way down the strip to Tropicana trying to get that image out of my head but I never could

and I still can't

lol yucky.

Christmas will be cheap and sad this year. Don't even think I can make the trip home which will make me so sad when the time gets closer.

I want a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck. I might give my wife a Barbour waterproof jacket to replace her old slicker. As my sibs and I get older it gets harder to pick out something they'd really like.

BTW, sierratradingpost.com has good deals on closeouts if you're looking for particular brands.

+1 on the skillets.
I have one large skillet, and one large griddle. I <3 cast iron.

I figured out today what to get my bf's mom. He's always said to never get her anything scented, because she's very picky, and her sense of smell is easily overwhelmed. But...she's kind of girly and likes stuff like that, as far as I can tell. So I'm gonna get her a GC to Bath Junkie, since she can choose both the scent and the intensity.

Haha. Fits, but I'm going to be backpacking for a month in europe (nov. 17th through dec. 17th) so since i will be poor and not really wanting to do shopping that close to christmas, it's whatever i bring back

omg i have no idea what i want. the older i get the more i have trouble thinking of something. i will probably ask for:
a pair of designer jeans (or the money for them)
a GOOD futon mattress (but i'm getting a couch so maybe that isn't necessary)
a rolly briefcase (like a cute one not one of those gay (no offense) ones)
or just $$$$ to study abroad with assuming i get accepted into the program

not all of those things---just 1.

i wish i could get the bf a weekend away somewhere
my parents??? i never know. i wish i had a real job and i'd get them something really nice. but i'm poor. my dad wants a wii so i could get him that (split with bro and mom) buttttttt mom i never know.
brother: some ecu or playstation crapola. although my parents will prob get him an xbox or something soon so i guess i could get him a game for that.

for my gift for our "white elephant game" with my cousins (you know the one where you steal the presents etc) i am getting FIREFLY and maybe some cool glasses or something. we do like a $50 max.

i crossed one person i thought i would be buying for off the list today (not that i really have a list but...). fortunately the person i'd spend the most $$ on and i are celebrating in Feb, not Dec

Mom - Clothes or Gift card for clothes - she always needs new clothes and shoes
Dad - Usually get him a combo of something like tools/a new toy/beer and clothes. I know a lot of guys hate getting clothes, but he never buys himself new clothes and he, too, always needs new ones
Sister - She's always hard to buy for. She doesn't have any bills to pay really so she spends her $$ on whatever she wants. Maybe a gift card or something???
Brother - I buy him jeans every year. He says the ones I buy him are always his favorite and wears them all the time and refuses to buy them himself. He still has the first pair I ever gave him and they have holes everywhere...something else also. His birthday is the 27th so I have to come up with a gift for that too. At some point he gets Wheat Thins, Easy Cheese, and IBC Rootbeer...it's a tradition

I also end up doing everyone's stockings (including mine usually) now. They normally have candy, toiletries (toothpaste, razor blades, shave gel, whatever else), make up for mom, sister, and me, hickory farms sausage...random other stuff...normally at least one thing that's more like a gift than just random stuff

I'm hoping for a casual winter coat - i got a really really nice wool coat last year (when i had a real job and dressed nice on a daily basis), but i need something more casual for day to day wear - other than that, just the basics, shoes, clothes...i can think of things i'd
really like to have, but they're probably out of the question

This year me and the husband are trying to do things for our Moms that they wouldn't do for themselves. My husband is taking his Mom to the Biltmore House to see all of the Christmas decorations, and I'm taking my Mom for a girls night out at this neat Christmas themed hotel in Tennessee. It's costing a little more than a standard gift, but it's something they'll really enjoy and appreciate. And they both have too much junk as it is!!!!!

Seems like a good price right now @ Bose website. $299 w/ free shipping and free $25 Itunes gift card.

i need gift ideas for:

my brother, 19 -- he's really into God, he's going to some leadership school to be a youth minister

and my sister, 21 -- she's really artsy fartsy.. hippie-ish and has been in and out of community college for the past 3.5 years.

they both live in oregon, so i'd have to be able to mail it.

i know this is to post gifts for other people but i'm posting my wish list

my Christmas isn't going to be what it normally is but so far I know I'm getting from my family:

a pea coat
house cleaning/toiletry supplies (my parents stock me up on this every year)
a bottle of Happy perfume

they dropped a shit load of money to help me out a couple of months ago so my birthday and christmas presents are pretty nil until i can pay the money back....which will take quite a while

i still would like:

a nice pair of gloves (preferably Isotoners)
a nice purse and wallet

[Edited on November 19, 2008 at 6:09 AM. Reason : but i'll just have to save up for them i guess]

I already bought my mom the crockpot she wanted. Now I have to buy my dad a metal rack for his truck (he owns a construction company) and then add on something at the spa for mom. My brother will just get money. Then I'm done Christmas shopping. yay. :-/

After reading that I thought you were Jewish from a religious standpoint... And then I read this:

Quote :
"really im just a cheap ass and its a way for me to not have to give any gifts "

and from the stereotypical standpoint, I was convinced

No offense...

But really... I already got the bf an Xbox 360 with guitar hero and a few guitars and he's prolly enjoying that as I type this

My mom is prolly gonna get something weird that she likes like a weird pair of earrings or some whorish looking shirt

My dad will prolly get a Lowes gift car since I have no clue what tools he wants/needs or i can get him a video game or something

My brothers will get lift tickets to Winter Park or something of that nature

I bought my grandma some pretty angel figurines and a picture that says how awesome Grandmothers are

My bf's mom I am planning on taking her to the spa and doing the girl thing

My bf's dad will prolly get something that deals with hunting, or football

I may get his brother lift tickets to a mountain in NC since he likes to board :-)

As for me... I dont expect much from anyone just because either I know they don't have the money, I know they will never get me what I need/want or I don't think that it is their place to really worry if I get anything or not.
