You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

You know why it looks like our intelligence is lagging? Because that shit's under wraps. Let me tell you...we have some ridiculous shit that would absolutely blow your mind. Shit, it blows my mind.

Intel is inherently imperfect. It's making a best guess based on incomplete and sometimes conflicting information. I have no doubt that the intel passed to the President was imperfect. The reason he's the President is because he's supposed to have the judgement to make good decisions from it, anyway.

I don't think the intel is REALLY what made much of a difference. I think they'd decided what they were going to do, then cherry picked some intel to support it.

Oh, and those expensive missiles, etc, are usually developed for very good reasons.


As for the original post...yeah, what a retard. We'd have a talk if I ever heard that shit. I will say that most of you would be amazed by our young Marines, in general, a handful of bad apples notwithstanding.

I would have thought this myself. I'm amazed that all of these retards are trying to be internet tough guys. Occamsrezr hasn't even done anything negative and they're physically threatening him already. Honestly I think this type of thing should be reported to whoever is above them.

Conveying a physical threat is, in fact, a crime. I don't care whether or not they fight for this country, if they're committing crimes then they need to be treated like criminals. Just because you're in the military doesn't mean you get to threaten it's citizens for no reason.

Most of these guys are out of the service and are retired. Before I started posting there it was a system of one would post and email forward and everyone else would agree.

If I were to escalate about the one set of threats, I guess I'd have to go FBI but I don't feel like going there just yet.
