They had strong father figures - PMS is not real. And yes, should have stayed with them.11/11/2008 2:52:58 PM |

This would only increase the demand for male workers and cause a greater disparity in the income gap. 11/11/2008 2:57:31 PM |

i don't think this is necessary unless you have an actual medical condition on top of regular pms that warrants it. like if you have actual, diagnosed dysmenorrhea, then you MAY SOMETIMES (may. sometimes. not ALL the time) need to come in late or leave early if Rx does not provide relief. but that would be similar to having a migraine at work or something. sometimes you may be able to get through with Rx, sometimes it may be completely debilitating. 11/11/2008 5:43:26 PM |

lol, I love this thread because of the underlying logic:
"I deserve to get paid equally, but on a purely theoretical level because OF COURSE I can't be expected to perform at the level of the supposedly better-paid gender. I deserve special consideration that will decrease my overall work performance for simple anatomical reasons yet will not hesitate to gripe if those same reasons are used to create a bias against said work performance."

damn, how much do you bleed? That would be disgusting if you are in the conference room and blood starts running down your leg and then hits the floor..... 11/11/2008 5:55:42 PM |

^^ i agree. except for my post. because that makes sense. because it is just like someone with any other medical condition. but you'd probbbbbbably want to make your employer aware of it before it comes up (like if you had migraines or something)

PMS doesn't make me a bitch. if anything, i'll cry over a commercial a bit more easily. 11/11/2008 5:57:37 PM |
