Hey if that was aimed at me I've never had a problem loading those clips on a Garand or similarly on an SKS, it was just a common issue for lot of soldiers in WWII and for somebody who doesnt know much or has never shot one, it's a good piece of advice so you don't end up accidently smashing your thumb in the bolt.
