thing you run into with EE's in the professional world is that half of them aren't even EE. They are EET and don't understand half the shit they're supposed to.

Electrical Engineering Technology


It's like the fake EE degree. i think its everything except the theory behind it all. it seems that's what most of the affirmative action positions at Duke Energy and some of the low end E.Firms graduated with.

i worked with a guy from Georgia Tech (methinks) that had that degree


iirc, one of my good buddies is working on an engineering technology degree from western carolina

The MV-22 program only began in 1981 with the Army with real full term development somewhere in 86-87

You are most likely thinking of the Bell XV-15 (mid 70's):
