I swear I've heard before that in NC insurance companies must replace your front windshield at no cost to you (no deductible) - but I can't for the life of me find anything about this online -- anyone know if this is true? If you happen to find a link to anything about this please post it as well.

My insurance pays replacement cost + deductible up to once every 18 months (maybe it's 12...) Anyway, my dad drives ~45K miles a year and they just have him scheduled because of all the truck rocks and pits from the highway. When it's time they come by in the evening and replace it in the front yard in about 30 minutes. You can't drive it for ~12 hours while the epoxy sets up, but it's night - who cares.
